THE LAKE



The lake is 64 acres, with a maximum depth of
35'. There's a boat launch two short driveways to the west of the property.
There are some basic water traffic regulations, but skiing is permitted
11AM-6PM, counter clockwise only. View Pretty
Lake Water Traffic Regulations . The beach at our pier is sandy
and shallow. Plenty of sand! Great for smaller children.

Lake near Dousman, in Southern Wisconsin is one of those wonderful places
that is chock-full of stuff for visitors to do while on vacation. Its
only 2 hours from Chicago, or an hour to Madison., and just 45 minutes
from Milwaukee. Its also about a mile away from Kettle Moraine
State Forest and miles of hiking & snowmobiling trails. There are
several types of activities one can participate in when one books Southern
Wisconsin rentals for vacation. Fishing on Pretty Lake is great in summer
or winter in Wisconsin. Enjoy the fire ring down at our Pretty Lake
beach and and smores when you stay in our comfy 3 bedroom home
on 65 feet of level lake frontage . Most people who visit, return year

One
great activity to try while in the region is Cave of the Mounds, located
near Mount Horeb. Considered a natural national landmark, the site is
full of colored stalagmites and stalactites for you to wonder at. This
particular cave system is thought to be nearly 400 million years old.
Or visit a cheese factory in Theresa. Antiquing in Oconomowoc, home
of the famous Kiltie drive-in and the best frozen custard in the universe.
The Kiltie maintains its car-hops and the same look as it did in the
1960s.

Southern
Wisconsin is home to unique attractions, such as the Harley Davidson
Museum which features displays and exhibits about the history of the
motorcycle maker. Another wonderful stop in Southern Wisconsin is the
Milwaukee County Zoo which houses many exotic species for your viewing
pleasure. One last great place to visit on your vacation is Circus World
which is a museum focused on the history of the Circus; this unique
attraction is located in Baraboo.
