WATER TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
1. No person shall
operate any Craft in a reckless or careless manner.
2. Any person swimming more than 150 feet from shore must be accompanied
by an escort boat.
3. Every boat used to tow a ratter, skier or surf board or towing another
craft shall be manned by no less than two persons one of whom shall
give full attention to the craft or skiers bring towed.
4. All power boats must travel in counter clockwise direction at all
times.
5. No motor propelled boat shall operate closer than 100 feet to any
pier or raft except when leaving or docking.
6. No motor boat shall operate at a speed in excess of 6 MILES PER HOUR
under the following Conditions: NO WAKE
a) Before the hour of 11:00 A.M. and after the hour of 6:00 P.M.
b) When closer than 100 feet of a bathing beach.
c) When within 100 feet of any moving boat.
d) When within 100 feet of any anchored boat.
7. ALL SKIERS ARE FORBIDDEN TO TRAVEL BETWEEN RAFTS AND SHORE LINES.
8, It is UNLAWFUL to operate any boat unless equipped with approved
life jackets or cushions. it is also recommended that children or non
swimmers wear vest type life preservers.
9. All skiers are required to wear life jackets. MUST BE U.S. COAST
GUARD
APPROVED JACKETS
10. It is UNLAWFUL for any person to sit or ride on gunwales or bows
of any moving motor boat.
11. Horseplay while swimming or boating may result in a serious accident
. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited.
12. NO PICNICKING OP LOITERING ON ALL RIGHT OF WAYS
